It had its story planned in advance. They asked for 52 episodes, and they got 52 episodes. Even most anime that go past 52 episodes (either in count or in season) get stale and boring. Do you like She-Ra with drawn out story arcs and filler to pad for content? Fuck that.

At least the production crew knew it advance how many episodes they'd get. That means we get a complete story instead of either having to guess when they'd get cancelled per season or cancellation in the middle of production.

I'd rather the producers do the story that they want to tell and leave it at that. I mean, there are many more stories you can tell, but usually the producers run out of ideas and mess shit up.

Everything about this thread is what's wrong with this board. I'm sure the "writers" had plenty more ideas of what identities they wanted to showcase in their progressive conditioning program. It's just that Netflix wouldn't fund more "seasons" because not enough people liked the show. They squeezed the outrage sponge dry.
