>>114016063Depends. Pixar has been in a decline for a while now, but they haven't totally lost their edge. Though with that said, their take on Sam & Max would (best case scenario) probably be akin to Miyazaki's The Castle of Cagliostro, while (worst case scenario with Pixar and Disney) the other possibility is just a very generic and safe wacky buddy film.
Hard to say what would happen if Purcell were able to go with DreamWorks. They haven't exactly been doing much better, but they would probably at least allow a bit more of the pair's charm to be retained in film form, though they'd probably insist on having big names attached for the duo instead of their current VAs.
Blue Sky would probably push to make them into a film serial, but not the kind that fans would want where each installment was gut-busting laugh riot, but instead just a bunch of by the numbers sequels that add on more and more characters without every really developing them in each installment.
And if it were Sony or Rainmaker, you know it'd just be the usual trifecta of garbage: Celebrity VAs + Outdated references + Pop songs out the ass
