>>113992298>>113992433Ok, so while there were mangas and the Scramble City OVAs the first big divergence happened during season 3, which took place in 2010 instead of 2006, and the movie was relegated to cryptic references to the Unicron War, because it didn't come out in Japan until later.
Instead of the The Rebirth 5-parter Japan had the Headmasters anime, where Optimus died again and Rodimus left in the Lost Light to search for a new homeworld after Scorponok blew up Cybertron, it obviously wasn't called the Lost Light, but you get my point.
Then came Masterforce, which had humans becoming Transformers, Victory, which was pretty much the precursor to the Brave Series, and Zone which was just an OVA and some history pages.
There were also G-2 pages which had a different story than in the US.
Beast Wars had two anime sequels.
Things get complicated when they decide Car Robots/Robots in Disguise is part of G1 in a timeline that came with Kiss Players.
Binaltech and Alternity split the timeline, and explained how Wheeljack was alive after the movie.
The most recent additions are Sakamoto's Legends and Unite Warriors mangas. Unite Warriors is the japanese version of Combiner Wars, thought it starts with Galvatron being given a body made out of Cyclonus, Ghost Starscream, Armada Thrust, Prime Breakdown and IDW Roller, Galvatron turned out to be a dimension hopping Galvatron II from Marvel UK and Roller turned out to actually be Prime's drone having gained sentience.
Legends started as office shenanigans with the BW cast as salarymen with personalities based on the Japanese BW dub and eventually became Sakamot autistically explaining everything that had no explanation, like Devil-Z or Violen Jiger and Dark Nova, the non Transformer Decepticon leaders of the japanese sequels to the original cartoon.
Oh and the timeline I mentioned earlier also said that Primacron's assistant became the Oracle and Primus.
