In Nephrite defense, she was already teased in the intro along with the characters that got appearances in Future. She also had more appearances in the original series that had to do with mental issues and Steven really wanted to help her. This was an opportunity for her to play her part in I Am My Monster.

that doesn't mean you get to kill someone and just cut them off your life without even properly addressing it. They probably did it on the time skip but that's a load of bullshit cause we never get to see it.
It also takes away from the big hug scene because you have all these characters going from blaming themselves to hugging him while Jasper is not part of it, despite being a character involved in what Steven became. The hug scene is supposed to be the emotional climax where everything comes together, but without Jasper, you are missing a piece.

Her resolution was finally getting the fight of her life and even being restored from death. Her "Diamond" is one the one person she respects and she's apparently living in Little Homeworld now which means there's hope for her. Would've been real shitty if they just let her go back to the woods.

Jasper respects him for shattering her. That's it. She wanted a good fight and got one, that's her arc conclusion. The hug also doesn't "fix him" since it takes 3 months for him to get to the point where we see him and even then he's still seeing a therapist and even THEN he still decides to leave to better himself.

That’s not enough and doesn’t deal with the multiple issues she has. How the fuck is getting shattered on a fight a proper resolution in a show that teaches you violence isn’t the answer? If anything that fight left her way more messed up and Steven washed his hands on the whole affair.

She's a soldier without an army. It would be a fun spin off of her going to the now freed worlds and enacting order in those chaotic gem worlds.

Think about it. She'd be the one mythical figure that almost everyone heard about. The solitary gem from earth who fought against the rebellion, the toughest of nails from the war, the perfect cut. We could find out more of her life after the rebellion but before steven. Who knows, maybe she had a high status pearl herself that she left behind and kinda forgot about as her obsession with rose quartz grew.

If Jasper's not concerned there really isn't anything you can do. It's not like it effected her on the same level it did Steven and he didn't plan to kill her either. It's the most impossible situation to pass judgement on. As for "that's not enough", no shit her story is still ongoing. Just because the series is done/on break doesn't mean the characters cease to keep growing between now and then. Anything could happen in the timeskip.
