I'm tired of hearing this, First off, DC has a post-crisis mainline continuity, Secondly you can just read a character's best stories(Eg Batman has: The Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke, The Long Halloween, The Court of Owls. Superman has: Allstar Superman, What's so funny about Truth, Justice and The American Way?, Kingdom Come) and base him off them instead of making up your own shit, Thirdly, The only correlation between say Man of Steel Superman and Injustice Superman is that both of them killed someone in off-context scenes/panels, Man of Steel isn't faithful to Injustice Superman either if you use that story as an example
