I think people are mad that the comic never progresses. It's pretty to look at, but it's supposed to be telling a story. It's a little disappointing and frustrating that so much time and pretty visuals are put into a narrative that's not all that compelling, and that isn't really going anywhere.
It's like, why don't you hook up with a writer, Tracy? Or dial back your neurotic detailing so you can actually get some story momentum going?
This is why no one ever talks about Lackadaisy. It has no story momentum, no mysteries, no twists, no reveals. The dialogue is great, the art is pretty, but structurally it's an enormous dud and, as a comic, it's not doing its job.
