>>113642503Just watched the first episode, or most of it until my data speed got throttled for the day, at the part where Miko said she wanted one of those little floating robots for Christmas. The first thing I noticed was how well animated it was. I liked the choice of colors too. Don't think the show would've looked this good if it was on TV.
The plot was pretty interesting too. Not mind blowing, but I liked how they introduced the two leads. Am zoomer, so I thought some of the video game references were dated, like when the kids were getting hyped over Five playing a 2D side scroller, and the bleep bloop sound effects that most vidya hasn't used for years.
But I have to say, it was intruguing seeing them mix that with the modern "touch screen smart phone" world. Another anon ITT said a monster-of-the-week cartoon is refreshing in a time where everything is about "OMG DEEPEST LORE!!!" and I agree. Don't think this is going to be one of my favorites, but it was more interesting than a lot of other /co/ related stuff that's been coming out lately.
Hope you Glitch Tech fans get another season. It's a pretty cool show. Very visually appealing too.
