Plus Guy Pleasant is a manifestation of Todd's feelings about his brother leaving, so I'm not sure what it would represent for the Butt Witch to fall in love with him. Though I could definitely see the Butt Witch using him the way she did Brown Roger when she turned him into a jealous monster, corrupting him in some way.
Speaking of the Butt Witch, one question that occurred to me was what Big Deal was supposed to represent. The most straight-forward interpretation is that he's an echo of all the people in real life who keep telling her (Reggie) that puberty (the Butt Witch) is a "big deal." That's why he's so whiny and annoying, this is the way Reggie sees her mother and anyone else who tries to talk to her about the subject. _She_ doesn't think it's a big deal. But another idea that occurred to me was that Big Deal might represent Daryl! He's small, like the appearance of somebody who's far away, which Reggie's dad is, and yet his name is "big deal" because he really is a big deal. The Butt Witch would then actually represent Judy, not puberty or Reggie herself. That too makes sense in a way since the Butt Witch was born from the books Judy gave her, and the two even look alike with their exaggerated womanly figures. If you really want to read into it, you could suggest the completely one-sided relationship between Big Deal and the Butt Witch shows Reggie secretly blames Judy for her dad leaving.
Also note how Big Deal has whiskers, just like Daryl has his mustache. The antagonists of the show would then be both of Reggie's parents, and it's clear from the beginning that Reggie's poor communication and relationship with her mother is one of the central sources of her desire for escapism.
