Yeah, exactly, the only people that care about it are much older, but they chose not to target that demographic for some fucking reason. A mature shared Hanna Barbera universe could work, Future Quest comes to mind as a good example

Well, Scooby Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed feels like a proper regular Scooby Doo Movie, it has call backs to the original series, it feels like a proper mystery (unlike the first movie) just on a bigger scale, and it has the feel of Scooby Doo we all know and love (again unlike the first movie)

I don’t get what the tone for this is supposed to be. The first trailer with the gang as kids and Shaggy and Scooby meeting each other made it seem like this was supposed to be a heartwarming cute movie, but all the leaks will Blue Falcon and the other trailers make it seem like yet another capeshit movie with a million quips a minute and has no sincerity.
