Whether through fusion, or a kiss, or whatever, Steven’s corruption spreads into Connie.
Now naturally, corruption works differently for gems than it does for humans. Connie’s appetite starts to grow. At first its just little thing, snacking more, getting seconds at dinner. But as time goes on, it starts to get more serious and she’s starting to gain weight. Connie also notices she’s having a harder time thinking about things besides food and eating. She tries to get herself to stop, but she can’t stop thinking about eating. If she’s not thinking about food, she’s eating. Her grades are starting to slip, her parents are getting upset with her, but she just can’t help herself. Even when she’s full to the point it hurts, and she tells herself to stop, its like her brain overwrites itself and MAKES her eat.
One change that Connie’s been going through that people haven’t noticed because of the weight gain, is that her skin is changing tone. Very subtly, but its happening. Its changing to a very faint pink.
Soon, Connie's body starts to balloon up in weight, gaining hundreds of pounds in mere weeks. Her parents, terrified for their daughter, take her to the doctor's, even the gems, but no one is able to figure out what's happening to the girl. Connie tried to stop, she tried as much as she could, but it was inevitable. She was unable to control herself. It reached the point where if it was even partially edible, she would eat it.
