And Didio's "bag" is probably what finally got him axed. Didio was supposed to be the genius organiser, remember the original 52? Didio was supposed to be the recruiter with the eye for talent, remember him pushing Rucka back in the day? He snags King and Bendis but King shits the bed on Batman and Bendis shits the bed on Superman (DC's bread and butter.) Then this 5G thing starts to fall apart the same way rebirth fell apart (in a similar way nu52 fell apart, or a different way, or maybe he tanked rebirth as vengeance for nu52 or however that clusterfuck actually shook out doesn't matter anymore because) all of a sudden Didio isn't a great organiser, he doesn't have an eye for talent, he's run DC's stable into the ground, he's failed to grow the legacy characters into merch machines or stand alone titles so why do you keep him on staff?
The guy thoroughly fucked himself for a solid two years, I have no pity for him at this point.
