What you are suggesting is that even artistic representations of it should be prohibited, which is an entirely different issue altogether. It becomes less of a criminal issue and more of a social issue. Where does that rabbit hole stop? Should we be prohibited from talking about incidents of sexual assault of a minor? Are we verboten from even acknowledging the existence of child predators? Where does that line of reasoning stop? Rape is also a horrific act, and those who commit it are among the most disgusting and vile people who exist - does that mean, then, that depictions of it in fiction are to be expunged? Are we no longer allowed to have porn where the actors pretend to engage in a rape scenario? Is even depicting a rape scenario with animated characters too much?
