>>113066469Another reason why I think the Skrulls are sexually conservative. Their view of romance is very chivalrous. It's almost bizarre. For a species so pragmatic and cruel in other ways, their sexual politics are very formal and... how do you say... unrealistic? Except they make it real. Super-Skrull fears nothing, but he has suffered a great deal for the love of a woman, and not once, but several times - S'Byll, Anelle, the mother of his children, the alien Praxagora. Paibok and Lyja. The stormy relationship between R'Kll and Dorrek, which ended in murder. The Warbrides, who live like nuns. And by contrast, the renegade De'lila, who used her sexuality as a weapon.
They must view us as grotesque savages.

>>113069112I want a miniseries called 'Heat' where Carol hits Kree puberty and goes into heat for the first time.
It first manifests when Blue Marvel is scanning her to see why her power keeps increasing. She looks at him, and gradually she is overcome with thoughts of how handsome he is, and how admirable, and how much she respects him and.. loves him... suddenly, she kisses him and for a moment, the Blue Marvel is unable to wrest her from him (which is worrying). She comes to her senses and flies off.
Cue eight issues of Carol fighting against this thing inside her which has only one goal: find a worthy male to mate with. Complicated by the fact she is Binary and her power is gradually going out of control, and if this ends badly she will simply explode like a miniature star, very possibly decimating the solar system.
