There's a new forecaster who got 2016 and 2018 right while everyone else (including Nate Silver) was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Elections are decided on who votes now, not by swing voters, thanks to the redistricting bullshit Republicans put in place after the Tea Party wave. In 2016, the Democrats who voted were offput by Clintonista antics, and Republicans came out in force. In 2018, the blue wave happened; many of the big races that were lost by Dems were still very close and happened under suspect circumstances (Florida and Georgia's governor's races). The forecaster I'm talking about says that the blue wave will carry through to 2020, barring the DNC doing something stupid like putting anybody not Warren, Sanders, Biden, or Bloomberg on the ticket. Dems can't lose national races as long as their electorate actually comes out, which they will this year.
The primaries are coming up, and without a Republican candidate to vote for, I hope all of you have done the smart thing, switched your registrations, and are ready to get Bernie Sanders the nomination. Because if he loses, you're going to have to deal with one of your 3 worst nightmares.
