Gold is the most generic X-Men book you can imagine, nothing about it mattered except the time they tried to steal DC's thunder with a Kitty/Colossus wedding at the same time as the Batman/Catwoman wedding and neither one actually happened.
Avoid Red unless you really like the cast or are really angry about political events from 2016-2017 and want to know how angry Tom Taylor was about them too.
