Galactus does this, superman wants galactic justice, saying that he believes in rule of law and thinks if his death can avoid a war, so be it.
Galactus sends Superman a few hours back in time and places him on Earth so clark can say goodbye to his loved ones.
Thor smiles, respecting his friend but not understanding him a bit.

I'm not sure he would need to, the first half of the story has Superman becoming as close to being friends with Galactus as Galactus ever becomes with people.

Yeah, but as I see it galactus doesnt act so impetiously and, deceptively, has enough emotional intelligence to know not to break in unless hes asked.

Actually I like the idea that during the Superman Trial, Galactus is mostly busy teaming up with the Gods to fight off Trigon (or some other mystic threat) and right before it ends Big G and Thor come to try and save Kal.

Most of us seem to see Luthor becoming President and walking Ear tg h into Space.
This of course begs the question of why the President of the United States can speak for the whole planet.

I figure Various Soviet heroes maybe keep the Soviet Union around longer than anybody expects, and there's some arc where america has to smash russia and chine to become earth's only superpower?

I figure it will definitely involve the Chinese Super-Man, Minotaur and Roxxon aggressively spreading capitalism in the brave new world, and maybe the commies accidentally fucking themselves over with some failed experiment.

Maybe china tries to turn radioactive man from kild threat to the Communist Doctor Manhattan, but the experiment works TOO well?

I'm not sure Galactus himself would be up for that kind of fight after trying to eat Xandar (and failing given that Superman is held there), but someone in the last thread mentioned something involving the Heralds, Abraxas, and Metron.

Supergirl is probably with Lex, She-Hulk, and the Fantastic Four on Xandar. Superman is her cousin, as long as the world isn't literally exploding she's going to be at his trial.

Spidey and the Batman family are dealing with a team-up between Bane and the Green Goblin

The Flash Family has to team up with Franklin and Valeria to stop a plan by Doctor Doom and The Rogues, who are attempting to lay a trap that would take out the crew on Xandar when they returned, including the accursed RICHARDS.

I can imagine so. Luthor's Cabal would be farther reaching in scope than the 616 version. It'll be united by an "Us vs Them" as the Earth needs to be united to expand into the stars. Lex is striving to fulfill a warped version of Superman's dream for the planet and its inhabitants.

You guys need to understand that the reason Superman helped Galactus in the first place was because he wanted to save the most lives as possible.

If it weren’t for Superman, there would be a lot more blood on both sides than if he didn’t interviene. Superman ended the war, not by being cool and defeating the Corps by himself, but by acting as a sort of insulator for the worst aspects on both sides.

So I don’t think Galactus would go against Superman’s wishes, when he knows the reasons why Superman turned himself in after their victory.

I'm not sure that works given everything that has followed. If that was all he did then there would have been no reason for the Corps to retaliate against him, which is where things started getting really crazy.
This may just be one of those times where a lack of specificity on the part of the original author creates something said original author didn't intend, and they just have to deal with it because it is no longer in their control.

Because when I wrote >>112834027 I certainly wasn't thinking "Superman must have solved the problem by deescalating tensions" I was thinking "Anon said 'Superman joined the fight'. Clearly they meant Superman helps the Heralds beat up the Nova and Lantern Corps until they leave Galactus alone."

Basically it’s three arcs encapsulating a main event. Cosmic Crash, Kryptonian Krush, and Cosmic Justice.

Story beats go as this:
>Nova Corps and Green Lantern Corps team up to kill Galactus
>The World Eater sends his Heralds, all of them. Maybe even some new ones.
>Shits gonna go south fast, these factions fighting are gonna cause a lot of collateral damage and death
>all the heroes are standing in the sidelines, not wanting to get involved in this mess
>Superman suprises everyone and saves Galactus
>the tide turns, casualties lessen, and the Corps start losing
>they refocus their efforts towards Superman and his fortress of solitude

I didn’t think about Superman deescalating the fight, so much as he sorta stopped as many GL/Novas and such from doing stupid shit and endangering human life, just as much as he did heralds as well as saving Galactus’ life in a crucial moment. Essentially he’s the reason why the Corps didn’t win.

My take and origin and Unicron in this shared universe because TF exists here.
Unicron is an organic lifeform living on Lithone, one of the planets of culture and commerce in the galaxy. He creates the sparks that power all Transformers one day. Galactus comes and eats the planet to satiate his appetite, all while destroying the GL corps, who attempt to stop him. While building Taa II, Galactus seeks help from the Quintessons, whom Unicron had shared the technology with sparks with. Unicron is secretly uploaded into Taa II. After Taa II is completed, Unicron follows Galactus for eons, siphoning Power Cosmic, eventually being able to mass produce it. One day he attacks Galactus, morphing Taa II into his planet mode, which is now as big as Taa II. He easily defeats, but spares Galactus, wanting to kill him as painfully as possible. He then moves around the universe devouring planets in an attempt to starve him out. One of these worlds devoured was Krypton.
Primus leader of Cybertron, figures out what is going on and makes the Matrix of Leadership, a device that can destroy the galaxy size Unicron. Unicron's ultimate goal is to destroy the Matrix after learning of its existence.

Unicron guy here. It wouldn't go like the Avengers/TF crossover as much as I would like it to. The JL would inevitably get involved changing the whole thing.
The war also never changes. Even ancient Cybertronian tech would be too advanced for any race, including the Green Lantern Corps, to intervene in the war. The war is waged over ideology over the right to live and exist and resources, as energon reserves in Cybertron are dwindling fast. They arrive in 1984, bringing the war with them, with the Decpticons getting new vehicle modes first, followed by the Autobots. The JSA and Avengers members of the time intervene in the first battle on Earth, attacking both sides. They are little match for the Transformers, with Megatron in particular severely wounding several members of both teams thanks to his devastating fusion canon. Eventually, Optimus wounds several members of the Decepticons in a fit of rage and they retreat.

I think it should be Spider-Man because Primes whole deal is bitching about how good the old days used to be, and how good the heroes of said times are.
Spider-Man works well because he is one of the goodest good guy heroes of the setting yet from Primes meta perspective he did one of the worst things ever IE selling his marriage to the goddamn devil.

So Spider-Man stepping to fight and defeat Prime is the meta way of saying just because Marvels heroes have done scummy things, doesn’t mean they can’t still be heroic and doesn’t wash away all the good they have done.

Well considering we have Superman's death leading directly into Cosmic Civil War afterwards, probably about a year or two at most. So Jon would be like 12 if his dad died when he was 10.

Perhaps the Krakoa thing starts up later when Jon is a teenager and Superman is alive again? Maybe they're the ones who give him that new costume he has now in the comics?

Previous threads already established that they were both essentially pen pals. But since both Laura and Cassandra are beginners in regards to this writing thing, it’s roughly unintelligible scribbles that only they can understand.

Basically they’re pen pals in a attempt to improve their motor skills, and accidentally create their own secret language, which becomes crucial in multiple events where one of the girls is kidnapped or held hostage without anybody noticing.

Liberty Belle doesn’t belong to that group. Also she’s better as Jessie Quick because she was always closer to her father than her mother.
