I think changing her personality is probably the easiest way to "fix" her, or at least provide more comedy, but okay I'm gonna try to go with SPACE JAM canon only here:
You know how in Space Jam Lola is pretty unimpressed with Bugs? Build off of that during their interactions/dynamic. Like Lola isn't fooled by Bugs' typical tricks and is an opponent who can actually challenge him. Kind of like Daffy's rivalry, but with Lola more competent when dealing with Bugs and also unfortunately
more likely to actually fuck him. Their interactions really fucking escalate, both lose their cool, shit ends in a draw and/or a mutual victory because they get super hot (comedically) from this crazy rivalry and end up making out or something by the end.
If they're played as a couple I guess they could have a similar rivalry, but more good-natured, like each challenging the other to do crazy shit. Maybe playing into the sports angle with Lola, maybe just obvious stuff like competing to see who cross-dresses better or something.
How should Lola interact with other characters? Build off of Lola's FUCKING RAGE as seen in bits like the "don't ever call me doll" scene (but not using that specific line all the time; too repetitive/limited), and give her a short temper. Lola's generally nice but gets disproportionately mad at perceived threats to her abilities etc., and the victim has to deal with the crazy fallout. This could be played as justified if she's actually dealing with an asshole, or comedic if she gets pissed over some trivial slight and maybe could lose in the end.>do you think this has anything to do with how WB wants Lola to be portrayed in the movie?
Nah.>Won't it be better to just remove her entirely?
Nah. They don't have to use her in everything ever from now on, but she's worth keeping around in the event she is used for something decent.
