But I do think that, for handwriting, cursive (and shorthand, which isn't taught anywhere anymore) is way more practical than the "standard"; it's faster and causes less wrist stain, imo. Signatures are also prettier.
That said, I think hand made writing and signatures should be phased out entirely. Typing is just so much more efficient, and passwords and digital keys are exponential orders of magnitude safer than signatures.
