>>112670294Honestly who really cares? The big issue with Marvel’s movies right now is that they’re so studio controlled that you can’t actually tell who directed them. At least with early MCU prior to Avengers 1, each film felt like it had a signature style to match the tone. But now they’re so homogeneous that subgenre doesn’t even come into play, and directors and actors who raise a stink usually end up leaving or getting replaced like Edgar Wright or Ed Norton.
You can take shots at the Snyder DC films all you want, but at least you can agree for better or worse they feel like his movies in his style. Same goes for James Wan and Patty Jenkins.
