I think what people don’t get about SU, is that it’s not saying no one is irredeemable, it’s saying that there is no person who can’t lesrn self improvement. Examine their values and actions, determine whether it brings them satisfaction if life, and make an effort of overcoming your flaws and shortcomings. It doesn’t necessarily mean you become pure good or deserve forgiveness, just that you can be better than the person you were before.
