>>112615246>IT'S JUST A COMEDY BROThat's your excuse for everything. The Legion of Doom houses out-and-out mass murderers and terrorists like Joker and Bane but no superhero (especially Superman) bothers arresting them before they kill another bunch of people.
The show would have been fine if it didn't try to shoehorn supervillains being celebrities, and made secret lairs actually secret. The show needs to fucking decide if supervillains are monstrous mass-murderers and terrorists that law enforcement takes seriously and superheroes MUST stop, or if they take the
Venture Bros approach where supervillains are mostly harmless eccentric rich people who antagonize other rich people, with the civilian population largely staying out of the picture and both sides agree to LARP with each other, possibly causing injury or death depending on the level of LARPing they choose.
Playing death and gore for laughs in one scene and then trying to pretend to take it seriously in the next scene undermines the lore of the show. They should have went just for wacky oddball gorefest comedy without trying to shoehorn Harley being an ethical villain.
