So, was this show actually good? All /co/ ever does is complain about the ships or complain about how shitty the ending was. Was the show actually good or interesting besides those two things?

Legitimately no, that's why people obsessed over ships. They didn't care for anything else because there was nothing else. Characters are blank states with no personality or likability, plots go nowhere or were half-assed, art is trash, humor was absolute fucking shit
It was nothing but ships and wanting to fuck people and you know this

No. The shipping was really the only thing it had going for it. The plot was lazy and underdeveloped and the lore was an inconsistent mess.

Personally S1-S2 were pretty good, but S3 is when it begins to mark its downfall, and all of S4 is just shit. Literally most of the cast turn to shit just to force a ship that should have never become the main focus.

The show had potential, it was lost the moment they turned Eclipsa in a good girl that was 'only wanted to live her life'. And changed Marco and many more characters to better suit Star's way of thinking. Fuck, they even made Eclipsa so uninterested in the kingdom so that Star could say 'you are wrong, you shouldn't use magic like this'.

And the finale? Worst in history. How come the finale's heroine and main villain the show had began like this? Two autists as the heroine and villain? Really?
