>>112375293Look, man. I like the show, too. I've streamed it a couple times. But there is absolutely no way in hell that anyone, Disney or otherwise, would even consider what you're saying due to the amount of time and money it would take to fully acquire something that would give a minor return at best.
Proud Family and Hanna Montana are both Disney properties. That's why they air them on Disney+; because it was easy to do. Sometimes there are complications, like the anon mentioned with Phineas and Ferb, even with their own IPs. So why would Disney, who already has boatloads of IPs to load up Disney+ with, go out of their way to dust off and pay for an old 80s show full of even older songs being performed by a bunch of people that, among all of them, the most famous is the guy that used to play Cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch, just for their new channel for kids? I mean, if you're gonna argue about wasting the time/money doing all that, why wouldn't it be Nickelodeon? They already have a bunch of old shows on Nick at Nite, they previously paid for Alvin and the Chipmunks, who also performed popular songs.
You have this odd hang-up on an old 80s show, Disney+, and the concept of billions of dollars. This IP is not worth billions. The rights to air the songs used in the show would not cost billions. Commercial time during the airing of the show would not bring in billions. DVD/Bluray sales would not bring in billions. I don't even know how you came up with $500 billion. Hell, just for a recent example, The Joker was in the news because it broke ONE billion at the box office. That is a theatrical film being released internationally with a recognizable character in a currently popular IP.
We get it. You like the show and you want someone to treat it right and get it back on the air, but man, the most you could even possibly hope for is a reboot, and even then, why would you ever hope for a reboot?
Enjoy what you have. It's all you'll get.
