The problem is, with someone this explosive and angry who clearly has a serious mental disorder they're actively choosing to neglect instead of treat, eventually all their worst traits will become way too hard to deal with because you'll be around them for hours and hours.
His friends and family don't hate him, they just can't be around him for too long because he's an extremely damaged person who alienates those around him.
