Did You Know: the Darth Vader-esque cloud behind Anakin in this scene is suppose to represent how Anakin would later turn into Darth Vader. It's one of those minor foreshadowing details you might not notice on your first watch.

Did we watch the same show, there's plenty of times in the cartoon where Anakin says fuck it to the Jedi ways and straight up kills and tortures people without a second thought to get what he needs.
