So I guess Steven is also using the vast resources at his disposal to get humans to stop overpopulating the planet and stop destroying the environment? Or is he just a hypocrite who expects gems to follow a different standard than humans?

Also why can't gems continue to colonize planets but just put the alien life in zoos? Aliens with subhuman levels of intelligence will never make use of their planet's resources and they'd be as happy in a nature preserve as they would be in the wild so everybody wins.
