Then you have the fact that it became a subculture unto itself, which REALLY got the rage train going full throttle, not just here, but a LOT of places. By the point mlpchan was born, the apocalpyse of MLP was in full swing across the internet. MLP was unlike anything else ever. It nearly singlehandedly killed so many sites, including this one.
