>>112079117>Give me examples of something that would upset the public because they believe its not in the person's interest to do so as a result of their gender.Even in fields traditionally occupied by men, women are expected to be feminine. And those that aren't are ridiculed. Hell, watch any political pundit and see how many women in politics are criticized for their appearance, or perceived gentleness vs men. (Donald Trump is a notable Outlier, but mostly because his appearance has always been a big part of his image, and it's REALLY bizarre.)
This leaks into pretty much all fields. Medicine, Academia, even Hollywood. Women are allowed in, sure, but only so many, and only if they act/look a certain way. Those that fall short aren't taken as seriously.
>Nobody bats an eye at a stay-at-home father and working mother.Either you have only ever lived in REALLY liberal places, or that is an outright lie.
>People shrug at gay dads. That too. As for the rest of your examples, all I can say is that your experiences aren't universal, and PLENTY of people still cling to and push for "Traditional family values." Things are better now than they ever have been, sure, but it's far from a non-issue. Same Sex Marriage has barely been legal for half a decade.
>There is only a binary in a case-by-case scenario. And that's why it's often a pointless term to identify yourself as. Growing up in Alabama as non-binary then moving to New York where you lose that label because of all the diversity suggests it's probably best to move away from those terms.Once again, you're confusing gender identity with gender expression. They aren't the same thing, and the fact that you think they are, shows that you have no clue what you are talking about. And I don't mean that in a hateful way. You're just ignorantly making judgement calls.
