Nope, it's a bunch of relationships that fail since we're not meant to create those kinds of paired relationships forever. It's an invention that spread, not a real thing as a product of our natural state.
If monogamy was our default you'd see it successfully practiced everywhere you look by the population with high success rates. Do we have 100% of the population practicing it successfully atm?
90%?
Nope.
80% right, that's high....nope.
70%?
No...
60%, surely, at least...nope
What about 50%!? At least half...nope.
40%...nope.
30%!? nope...
20%!?!??! no...
17%...seventeen percent is successfully monogamous. And of that 17% they have a widerange of conditions and situations involving how they achieve that and it's not 100% out of "love"
The ever so charming and wondrous tale of a boy and a girl falling in love and living forever happily ever after is but a fantasy. It's simply not real life and not how we're meant to be which is why it doesn't work. It's been packed and sold to you for various reasons as "normal" and what you should aspire to...but's not any different than trying to use the Force from Star Wars, it's not real.
