Which one do you prefer? Personally I'm camp Sci-Fi. It's got more variety, better aesthetics, and it encompasses Cosmic, which is the GOAT. Magic I feel is too limited, and its aesthetics become good if you start tapping into Demons, Angels, Gods and whatnot, at which point it starts going into Cosmic territory, but with "magic" written over it. Basically, I see it this way. Magic has zombies, vampires and the like, basically horror, and can go into Diablo territory if it starts tackling "higher" themes. Meanwhile Sci-Fi has everything from Cyberpunk stuff, Halo, Dune to even Star Wars. No matter what type you like, you can find it in Sci-Fi, whereas Magic is much more limited and deals with a few recycled beats.
