Oh I'd love to watch Tangled: Westeros version. I think Raps would be a heck of a Lannister given her proud and in your face personality and charm. She would rally the people more brutally and directly than Margery Tyrell, keeping them wrapped around her finger. I wonder if she'd get poisoned though.

Eugene would rule the political game with his wit and people skills. I want Eugene to attend Elsa's lesbian wedding and bring the Coronian guard to the event.

I want him to whisper to Elsa during the ceremony "Rapunzel sends her regards" before commanding the guards to slaughter everyone there. I want to watch them imprison Elsa with Varian's magitech and have the guards rape the whore princess Anna in the Arendellian plaza as its the Coronian tradition. Bet the slut would even like it.

Vaggie surprised me given how much she warns Charlie to not trust Alastor and how much she agonizes over her love for Charlie. She is exactly like season 2 Cassandra and can't wait to see her have her heart broken and turn on Charlie.

The handling of failed proposal issue is far better in Tangled. Both Eugene and Raps feel sorry to each other. Eugene promised he’ll be more patient to her while Raps apologised her reaction did hurt Eugene’s feeling. They grew together and it strengthened their relationship after the event. While Kristoff’s failed proposals was treated like a joke and totally useless to the plot, his solo even serves for laugh.

Raps doesn't need excessive feminism to show she's strong and independent enough to handle the challenges. Eugene doesn't need to throw away his masculinity to show he still understands and is supportive to his love. They help and protect each other in different circumstances, and grow together. Raps and Eugene are excellent example how the couple works.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating that this show has done an amazing job with Rapunzel as a character. I'm so used to cartoons and anime where the main character is the least interesting character in their own show, but Raps is actually the MOST interesting character in the show. Or, at least, she's in a tie for first place with Cassandra. Considering the show has to build off a movie that had a pretty definitive conclusion, it's very impressive. I love Rapunzel's struggles and flaws and failures, and her successes and positive attributes as well. She's great.

Do you think we'll get an episode that openly touches on the fact that Rapunzel picked up a lot from Gothel's parentage? It's been an undercurrent of multiple episodes but it's never been directly addressed. Gothel raised her from infancy, it would be dumb if she DIDN'T pick some things up from her. The movie doesn't get into this as much because it doesn't have enough time and it's leaning hard on some of the fairy tale tropes, but the show definitely has moments where she's both manipulative and even rather nasty.

Or, well, not nasty. But Raps occasionally has a kind of passive-aggressiveness that she deploys to make people do what she wants. Not a lot, because she's fundamentally a good person, but it does come out occasionally.
