>>111738649Is "go to a different website, this isn't a safe place" all you can say? Because this issue isn't exclusive to 4chan.
Every social media on the internet nowadays is filled to the brim with annoying, snarky, counter-productive cynisism, 4chan happens to be affected by this like the rest; Just compare how this site was like back in 2006 vs. now, and you can clearly see how stale, lazy, and whiny it became.
As stated before, even YouTube promotes the same thing (drama, reaction, and other channels with lazy and cynical content benefitting from the algorithm),
Twitter's whole design is about chaos and misinformed reactions (achieved by having a small character limit, an algorithm that recommends the most noisy users on the platform in the most absurd ways, as well as recommending trends with a system all focused around it to achieve even more fuss),
people already know how Tumblr was like before the NSFW termination (an estabilished place of people who will beat you to the bones on every single thing that doesn't look right in their eyes, causing meaningless drama days on end),
and Reddit is a mix of the three mentioned sites (promoted lazyness, fabricated drama, and sheer idiocy).
So my apologies if all i'm asking for is some change of peaceful and productive mind for once, at least on a single freaking place; Specially when nowadays everyone's been given a huge chance to do so.
