>>111663297Funny enough I think I have nearly opposite opinions on each. I liked HB a bit more than HH BECAUSE they were all terrible murdering assholes, and it kinda felt like it let the black humor flow better by being so ridiculously absurd and over the top (such as the kid turning out to be also horrible and them just shooting him, or the furrywaifu getting so mad at the others' completely justified complaints about her bitchiness she immediately dashes outside and kicks a baby into the stratosphere). Probably in the same vein as Always Sunny, really.
HH was good too but something about the main character being a perfect cinnamon roll while everyone and everything else around her was so horrible felt a bit off to me, like the intended message to the audience was that she was better than the rest despite them all being blatantly sinners in hell, and so the show dynamic kinda felt like everyone else taking advantage of her naivete and kindness or whatever. Granted she's definitely NOT perfect, given she has a more demonic form that flashes every now and then, and got into a fistfight with the reporter, but it's still such a vast difference from almost every other character (though the rest of the main crew have their moments of softness).
I definitely still want to see something more come of both series, at the least (partly because I'm a huge lorefag and I'm starting to see snippets of deeper details just in what we have so far), so here's hoping they can dump out more than one episode every three years.
