>>111457208Shit that’s not too bad, and considering the test footage was 4 years ago it didn’t take all that long either - it may seem like a while, but ~5 years is nothing unusual when it comes to production for animated features. Hope these techniques of digital compositing/lighting on hand drawings will get used more in the future (and hopefully in a theatrical release), the effect is a lot like what Disney was trying to do with the tech they originally developed for Tangled and used on Paperman, but vastly more economical, flexible, and appealing.
