Now think about his outfit what does he wear? The mask of a grimm, nobody made this for him he designed it for himself.
Monty always put a heavy emphasis on outfit details. So if any character in the show is meant to be come a Grimm it would be Adam.
No mortal being has become fully consumed by grimm and to me seeing Cinder being partially consumed and Salem immortal and consumed I think it is only a matter of time before we see a mortal person become consumed by Grimm.

Evil magic is introduced as EVIL but does nothing particularly offensive. Then it does something miraculous so the writers freak out and make it EVIL for suresies by making it ALLEGEDLY try to force itself on people through mental manipulation.

We're not talking about the baby we're talking about the piece of shit tormenting humans in their own designated exiled lands. Dragons forced humans into that territory and made the borders themselves and yet this cunt flies in and harasses them for kicks? Nah let him go he's innocent.
The show is DESPERATELY trying to present a certain set of morals within its world but the actual narrative is presenting an entirely different set of naunced approaches making the main characters look naive at best and evil at worst.
The only way their current actions aren't percieved as evil is because we the audience know that it all works out in the end.

Real heroic. Just like how the King sentencing his own people to starve along with a mismanaged foreign power is shown to be good. I'd support a rebellion if it were my leader who took the food from the hands of my family, who planted, grew and reaped it, and gave it to foreigners so we could starve in their stead.

The setting is good but the forced morals show the abysmal writing for what it is. There is a lot of grey that could be fun to explore and reunite the three races through that exploration but they just force black and white.

There's no change in character because a semblance reflects who you are as a person. I personally like that the "don't want to be protected, wanna be the hero" character ended up being the one who, instead of being the generic sword-swinging hero that he thought he wanted to be, ended up as the guy who will literally give his soul away to heal and boost others.

The rub will be if they ever have fun with it. Will we ever see a giant Weiss knight? A turbo Ruby creating tornados? Blake creating multiple clones?

I will admit this, until they can properly figure out a way to defeat Salem, the best way to go about this situation is to make sure she can never deal any huge blows again.

If we’re to make a real world comparison: it’s like the war on disease. We can never hope to eradicate all disease. It will always be there. But we can make it to where disease won’t be nearly as much of a problem with technology plus tactical and strategic thinking to contain it. Remnant is like Earth was centuries ago, where a disease could quite possible fuck humanity over irreparably. So Ironwood trying to send satellites to space to ensure that Salem can never again take down global communications will be a big step in the right direction.

Also as crazy as it sounds, I like his idea to reveal Salem to the world. It won’t happen, he’ll die before then but if humanity is made aware of the threat they face then it will be better in the end so that they can work together to defeat it.

His actual development as a character is pretty consistent. He does lead a big group and cares about the cause it fights for, but from his first actual appearance (not a flashback) he is concerned with hurting people. When he notices Blake, he says he's specifically taking revenge on her for leaving him. Adam has his organizational goals and his personal ones.
His character didn't become the crazy-ex, his character was always that. The only scenes he's not are ones before she left him.

They gave him what should have been a major reveal to absolutely no fanfare , reactions, or consequences seconds before he died.
Said reveal basically justifies why he's s edgy and the existence of the more militant White Fang if you didn't also see his short where Ghira is being a pussy and trying to talk things out with an actua lynch mob trying to murder any faunus they see.
They basically sacrificed the character/plot development of faunus as an entire race to tease a ship.
TLDR it coulda been written so much better and people forget RWBY writers would have been shit at realizing the plot they had dumped on their lap on a silver platter.
The timeline also gets really confusing for the entire previous season since it means Adam was wrecking shit to an absurd degree (literal hordes of grimm, entire army bases, outran yang's bike while on foot, etc) and heard world shaking revelations about the truth of the world despite having almost no sleep for over a week.

That becomes more a failure to build the idea of anti-Faunus sentiments and behaviors as a whole, as opposed to failing to build Adam's character.
There should have been more shown about how terribly the Faunus were treated. Looked at like they're untrustworthy, enslaved, killed. Adam's story of abuse is not a unique one, or so they want us to think but it's not portrayed well.

Adam's actual character isn't going to change to make him a good person. He's not going to become some rebel who people sympathize with, he was (and will always was), a terrorist leader who was also a young man. He had charisma and calm when he was in control. That's the Adam shown in the Black trailer and in flashbacks.
Blake left him and it broke something in him because for once he lost control and he hated it.

On a more serious note, Pietro did say they were able to save the core at Amity Arena. I assume Penny's core is where her life force resides and thus where all her memories are stored, where her Aura is generated from, all that. As for how Pietro did it? At first I bought into the idea that they shoved a real person's soul into some sort of machinery but I think Pietro is too happy and kind hearted of a man to kill someone like that. So if it is that case and it is a real person's soul, it was likely the soul of Pietro's real daughter Penny who passed away from an illness or something.

Otherwise, he just found a way to make an artificial soul and put that into Penny.

Since Penny is the only artificial being capable of generating aura, it could be she, or whatever is in her core, was created with the Staff of Creation. Ayyy, that's a pretty good theory on how she was made. I like that theory, it would also give credence to the fact they're not making a shit ton of automatons with aura's. Also setting aside the forever undefined and never will be resolved issues with aura in people, there is no downsides to crippled soldiers that still want to fight getting soul sucked into a pseudo-immortal murderbot to continue their crusade like a starcraft dragoon or the 40k one.

It's possible it's from the staff of creation, but that also open holes of where the fuck are the rest of the cores they'd have made over whatever cooldown period it is at the oz line's direction. Automatons is like, third in line for historical I need more guys to beat up those guys. I'm also doubtful that the core itself could interface with and power her so well but at the same time be completely unaffected by the feedback that shrekt her.

Adam still had his revolutionary thoughts, which I appreciate since he still had that driving force that made his character understandable to an extent.
It's just that every time he saw Blake, his obsession with her came back and grew. There was no reason to try to kill or hurt her. She wasn't divulging White Fang secrets or trying to fight them (until she saw Torchwick was controlling them), she wanted a clean breakaway from them. Adam is the one that went after her and with how he is, I can't tell if him encountering her at Beacon was a coincidence or one of his objectives.

Adam seeing Weiss and Blake as friends would have been a great plot line. Especially if he showed up in Atlas but that would have needed a lot of time and become a central conflict to a volume. As much as I would have liked to see more Adam, he was not intended to be that big of a villain to the team as a whole. More specific to Yang and Blake.

Well South Park itself is heading towards Simpsons syndrome where it's gonna be completely out of material and struggling to provide new content for it's audience without decreasing it's quality. I think Trey and Matt should end it off while it's still a little high before it becomes another zombie show. But I don't think Comedy Central will let them.

The logicial thing at this point is to join Salme but it would be so boring if the villain wins by subject of having immortality how dull is that? I really don't think that's the case. She works from the shadows because swaying people is her M.O., and doing it that way means she can sit back and let humanity infight and weaken. That doesn't mean humanity uniting poses any sort of threat against her. The series has made it pretty clear how ineffective humanity, even as a whole, is against the totality of grimm.

Uniting just means she goes from ignore 99.999% of humanity and playing secret war with Ozpin, to outright grimm war. Not being united is all that's keeping every village and town outside the four capitals from being completely erased from existence. Because as it is she has no reason to pay attention to the little towns and villages, or even the cities themselves, but turning every human into her enemy makes slaughtering absolutely everyone beneficial to her.

The grimm are already more than humanity can handle when they're just wandering and acting on instinct. Forcing Salem into active war is not an ideal.

Not at all. I'm basing my assement on what the show itself literally tells us about the state of the world. Humanity struggles to keep anything outside the four main cities safe. Grimm control pretty much the entirety of the planet, and any small settlement is on borrowed time. This isn't "I think Salem would be bad news if humanity forced a war" it's "the show very clearly shows us humanity in unable to handle grimm even with grimm in their completely disorganized animalistic state, so antagonizing someone who can organize and actively improve grimm into even more terrifying things is probably not a good idea".

Aura regenerates on it's own, hardlight dust id very expensive and relatively rare

Huntsmen are superhuman, those the show does a poor job showing this. Atlas Knights (the humaniod robots) and are already more durable than the average person without their aura unlocked and their and the living troops weapons do very little to even common Grimm. Penny is a manufactured, more recoverable super hero. It's the difference between drafting a bunch of civilians vs building a battleship... that can fly and shoot lasers.

The bigger those cities get the longer those walls have to be and those cities are built in those protective mountains, deserts and tundras which make construction difficult, especially when you have fucking monsters of literal destruction constantly trying to kill you while building it. Then a dragon spawns and fucks your shit while being swarmed by hundreds of the smaller fucks breaking or just crawling/flying over said walls.

The show being from the perspective of Huntsmen downplays just how fucking scary the Grimm really are and how helpless all but the world super soldiers and super advanced army are. Drones would help but anything powerful enough would be too expensive to mass produce and maintain to the point they might as well build a couple dozen droids, a few aircraft or a Penny who seems pretty self sufficient.

Plus she's cute.

I see you weren't paying attention.

They have an enjoyable dynamic. Unlike Em/Merc, Neo isn't a direct underling, so there's a much more satisfying balance between the two. She also ads a nice amount of levity to Cinder's aggressively edgy norm, and unlike with most other characters where Cinder feels on the long-winded side, with Neo it feels more appropriate since she's the single provider of spoken dialogue for two characters interacting. It was fun seeing them fight and having both of them genuinely enjoying it, and it was nice seeing Cinder just be in an actual good mood during the dropship scene and smarmy to be smarmy instead of as some sort of intimidating/humiliation gambit.

You've seen first hand in the finale of V6 that she can just spend an afternoon building an entire new legion of grimm to send off on a specific, targeted attack.

How you can watch both of those and then go "Salem can't mobilize grimm!" is beyond me.

She didn't overly assist with Vale because it was Cinder's job and Cinder's plan. I'm sure scouting with extra grimm would be much more effective than telling Tyrian alone to search for Spring, but that is his job. Cinder had her own strategy for securing the relic with the team she built without relying on Salem doing the work for her, and she executed that plan. That doesn't somehow erase that we have seen Salem twice now show the capacity to actively order grimm around in large numbers.
