Not an expert, but as I read before in some parts, 2D is cheaper and 3D requires more effort in reality. Its just that huge corporation can use hordes of IT guys fresh from college plus HB1 migrants, and do mass scale work for the film paying them shit, and once movie is over, just kick them and the cycle starts again. That way the payoff the high prices of CGI making. 2D is simpler and doesnt require that much effort with modern tech, but you cant contract hundreds of slaves easily, or at least not for the higher parts of the movie making.
That, and people being dumb, and still having the ideas that 3D is the future, even tough its peak was long ago, and its tiring now to see CGI movies.>>111332046
Really, even after the big money their 2D movie obtained? Fucking dumb, but as said before, possibly old men that took Pixar words since their first movies how big CGI movies are, and that took root on their brains.
