I mean seriously this show has a real problem with keeping things a consistent size. They even said that they are only concerned with keeping characters the same size relative to each other but they failed in that regard as well.

Wait what episode is that right pic from? Just rewatched Legs From Here to Homeworld and didn't see that frame at any point.

Also in practice it's a non-issue. "The Legs should be way bigger than the cast" is how the individual shots should look

Even if the left screen didn't exist, the childrens level logic of the right screen still makes no sense. How does even the smallest diamond operate inside something whose torso is barely larger than her? The inside from what we saw was pretty spacious. I get that pocket space is the explanation, but it's handwaved so they don't have to expend any brain cells considering anything.

I never watched Primal but I have watched all but one episode of Steven Universe. Like I said to the other guy, this thing is supposed to be a massive battleship containing one of the most important people in a galactic empire. Well, the taller a character is often means the more consistently they are drawn from what I've seen. So now that they are older and taller they should be brawn with a bit more consistency.

So basically both of them are taking the quote out of context. It was originally supposed to apply to a show where their characters are supposed to be changing size and shape often. However, they are using it to excuse a flaw of a show where that isn't the case.
