I really like Wes Anderson's films

They're visually creative and have a unique sense of humor

Fantastic mr Fox and Isle of Dogs are better than modern disney desu

Isle of Dogs really didn't have enough for me to want to rewatch it, the aesthetics are great, but the story is lacking

Isle of dogs felt like it wanted to be boring on purpose at times. I've never really got that feeling from any other of his movies. I still liked it, just felt like they could have done a lot more with the premise.

I don't like Wes Anderson's style. He reduces life entirely to the social domain. There is no sense of stepping outside the social web into something else. That is, there is no window outside of one's interpersonal interactions, which can come off as either suffocating to the man who enjoys solitude or pleasant to the oversocialized.

Yes, actually, it has even become a nuisance more recently because of the amount of people that don't like Disney films becoming more vocal. We need to make them scared again so they shut up and stop criticizing Disney.
