But they've been doing this for awhile. They did it with Cho, and his Hulk book that had an entire arc about just Asian characters teaming up together. And now they've literally turned Agents of Atlas into Agents of Asia. How is this any different from turning Thor into a woman, other than AoA is a niche title? Being "PC" and pushing diversity was also about money, because they want to broaden the comics to appeal to more people by doing representation, so this whole argument that it's totally different when you're going to China bucks is fucking stupid.

There’s definitely some parrallels between the big sjw push a few years back, and the asian push now. Chulk came about during Alonso’s reign, and he was behind a lot of the SJW push at the time. But that’s been scaled back considerably since he left, now it’s about catching the attention of asian markets, the biggest difference is that this time around marvel had a guy forming connections in the asian market for them, the same guy who’s now their EIC.

In my HS and College Textbooks they always used "Latin@" when they meant "Latino or Latina", so it's interesting that it's been or is being replaced by "Latinx". I'm not sure what spurred the change but if anyone has insight I'[d like to hear it.

Also Aero, Wave, Swordmaster, and White Fox didn't originate in Future Fight but Netmarble and FF are definitely helping to popularize them, especially Wave and White Fox. White Fox is a webcomic original and Wave debuted in the War of Realms tie-in a few months ago. Aero and Swordmaster are both heroes from mainland China. Aero is from Shanghai and I forget what Sword master's deal is.

That’s also a problem for people here in the west. Not that many really want to jump on to a series that’s been around for decades and sift through all of that baggage.
