>>110978875>Should I read Justice League DarkDo you like consecutive multiversal crises happening literally one after the other until you have like 4 in 16 issues, each time only stopped by the intervention of even stronger, nastier crisis bringers?
Do you like your Justice League Dark being a bunch of useless jobbers and crybabies who're effortlessly outwitted by Circe vaguely helping them then sitting on her ass for a week to gain phenomenal cosmic power?
Do you like all the old DC occult lore being summarised at breakneck pace but rewritten so human sorcerors are the big dick Chads that exist to bend gods over and rape them for funsies?
Do you like good art?
If the answer to any one of those was YES, go on! Give it a shot! It's not a very deep series so if you hate it you'll get through it quickly (except for the Swamp Thing issue, which goes full monologue and also happens to be the most emotional one imo) and if you like the kind of whacky bonkers nonsense Dark Nights Metal brought-well, you can enjoy that too.
I will say that as horror icons-and NOT as a statement of powerlevel, which I'm not touching until they get a god damn proper explaination-the Otherkind are frankly a poor man's One Below All. I like a lot of DC things and I'm not ashamed to say TOBA did what they're supposed to do better.
>>110978875>>110978927I'm...90% sure he's making up SUPERKRYPTONIANS beause we actually did see Clark dive into a bunch of suns, master the 6th Dimensions' true meaning (friendship) and punch out the Anti-Monitor's brother as well as the multiverse he was forging at the time.
For all the wank Rogol Zarr has, he hasn't done anything like that. No, we don't know or care who Reggy Sars is because Supergirl dumped his ass in the Phantom Zone and he hasn't punched his way out.
