>>110939093First of all, I'd say this dub is more "formal" than the one we're using nowaday, the also took two really differents path for exemple : "I wonder" turned into "le monde" (the world) in the first one, while the second one used "je voudrais" (I'd want). Aurora isn't really asking things here, she's stating facts :

To whom he tells his melody ; likewise, myself, a solitary heart, I look on this Earth, for a being, who loves me and who'll come sing to me about Romance..."(I know it's a bit weird but it's the most accurate translation I could make of it).
We can also note the fact that Aurora and Philip uses "vous", which is a formal "you", it's used for strangers, older people, etc, while their modern dub counterparts uses "tu" which is used for friends, family, lovers. I wonder if they eventually started using "tu" in the movie, like Rapunzel did with Flynn, but we may never know.
