>but his conquering of Etheria stalled when Adora became She-Ra and emboldened the formerly disheartened Princesses(He was very close into conquering a good portion of the planet until a literal near-demigoddess stopped him). There, that's when your entire plot falls right the fuck apart and becomes an unsalavgeable assbackwards mess, because you know, now it makes no sense why he would be so close to taking the place over, then someone shows up and stops it, and he literally does nothing about it. Literally nothing. She was in his building! She was down the hall for gods sakes, and apparently this super important task of proving to his brother that he can take the place over is now just kind of forgotten while She-Ra stops his plans. You can't have an inactive antagonist the entire three seasons and then flip flop back to suddenly that thing he was ignoring was his entire reason to prove himself.
Hey, you want to use "Insecurities" as a crutch in writing? Maybe don't make that the central focus when your character is both entirely active in the portion that he doesn't have a story need to justify, his brother didn't say he was defective in making portals, and then ignore the part he outright told the audience-not shown because you know, if you SAY it its fine- that he felt he needed to prove himself in. He used dialog to say he needed to prove he could be useful in CONQUERING. You know, later, when the audience needs to know it.
>The reason Hordak's been sitting on his asOr will continue to, in season 4, we never saw him after the world got fixed. The issue is the previous three seasons.
>>110910618Yes please do because your explanation makes zero sense. I know the plot, what I don't get is how the hell you can mess up a straightforwards character arc this badly.
