They ARE separate characters. Times have changed, as have social mores, and the conventions of the mediums are different. TT Starfire is not OG Starfire, even if she is based on her.

Or they’re not actually related, they just share the name koriand’r and the superhero identity of starfire. Only one is around 18-25 the other around 11-15 (biologically speaking. Their real age gap would be something like 100 earth years which is around 75 Tamarea years.)

I could buy TT Starfire as being half human.

If you wanted a full lineup you could use TT Robin as Tim's kid. He has the staff down but TTG gave him a more clear character by making him a neurotic overthinker.

Not really. PeeGee is just Earth 2 Supergirl who is older and has tits. Cartoon Starfire would be just a teen version of Starfire with smaller tits and less of a shapely body than Comic Starfire.

Actually I know about the attempt to give her an Atlantian origin and about all the other Supergirls like the one that was an angel, and Cir-el. Basically they both have continuity baggage just not between them specifically. Her current origin is she is from Earth 2 so I don't get your complaint.

Characters change over the years and have many variations. Adam West 960s Batman is Bruce Wayne. So is "Rubber Bullets, I swear" Batman from Dark Knight Returns. I see no reason Kori can't have multiple character interpretations like Batman does.
