>>110801351I'm not even actually in the SU fandom, I saw the movie with my s/o (they've been in & out of the fandom over the years) & we joked about Spinel's fetish art potential, & my s/o asked if I'd whip up a giantess Spinel piece, afterwards I decided to do a Spinel vore piece (both being fetishes of my s/o); both were actually the very first Spinel pieces to be posted on Pixiv.
My Spinel art has been the most popular of anything I've produced (& I've drawn Pokémon & Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart fanart as well as original pieces of mine); & they both were reposted in the last Spinel thread, & anons asked for more giantess Spinel art.
I don't mind it, but at the same time, I don't want to be known JUST for my Spinel art. After these next pieces & one more idea I have for a non-fetish Spinel piece, I think I'm going to be done with her unless commissioned.
She's fun to draw & I'm glad people appreciate my art of her, but she's not something I want to keep drawing. I've got 3 other original WIP pieces that I put on hold for the Spinel art anons in the last thread requested.
I'm glad people genuinely enjoy my Spinel art & I'm happy it's been reposted, but I don't plan on drawing any more after this. I'm both happy & a little bummed my Spinel art is my most popular, so I'd rather break away from it while I still can. I do a lot more than JUST Spinel & I'd like to avoid being known for only Spinel art. My art style is closer to anime than whatever style Spinel is (I prefer it being compared to Cuphead than to Calarts).
