I really don't like the way Cassandra is being shown this season.
When i first saw the episode with the saporian dude, i thought the writers would go with the route of ''her being so in love that acts stupid and doesn't notice his evil intentions'' but surprise surprise, she noticed and that was a nice touch for me.
Also, Chris himself said that Cassandra is not the cliche ''mc best friend'' and that she's her own character.
But then, suddenly out of nowhere, they are forcing her character to go with this cliche ''evil route'' where she is not friends anymore with the protagonist. Again.
And hear me out, this trope can work like with Varian, but the problem is that Cassandra's motives don't make any sense to begin with.
Everyone in Corona knows that Rapunzel has been locked in a tower for 18 years, Cassandra knows, she saw the tower. How come Rapunzel had more privileges than her?
Also ''remember what she put you through?'' what exactly? because Rapunzel showed her love towards her so many times like this moment
