>>110576956>if you read it that wayAnon, how else am I supposed to read it beyond face value?
I mean meme shorthand is one thing, but unless "some of the worst _____ I've ever seen" is a new one that I've missed, in my book, based on the cosplays I've seen in cosplay threads, or at Cons, that makes the designation inaccurate, which is all I was trying to say with "seems a bit over the top" while also trying not to be a dick or making you/anon feel threatened or insulted because it was honestly the last thing I wanted to do.
I just think that for all of the reasons I didn't like the costume in the movie to begin with, the fact that the person came that close with all the layers and straps and segmentation, while not 100% inaccurate (some of those inaccuracies I already pointed out), what they were able to put together is still a shitload better than I could have done. Yes there are flaws, but (and I'm not knocking Superman's costume) but to put that together and have it come out (what I feel) that well is admirable, because I feel accomplishing that had a much higher difficulty than putting on a blue onesie, with a red briefs, boots, tucking in a red cape, a yellow belt and ironing on the crest of the House of El. Just my two cents though.
