>>110469919I wanted to say that I don't care about your fetish either way, but then I saw you're one of those dishonest cowards who have to age up characters in a vain and meaningless effort to legitimize their desires in front of an uncaring, uninterested world, as if begging for acceptance and validation. I pity you, but I also don't respect people who do that sort of thing.
>>110470224I tend to disagree to a point. Star Vs started out good and had potential before sinking into a septic tank of liberal propaganda, horrible characterization and utterly pointless relationship drama. The show should've ended with Toffee gone. That simply means we had roughly a season or two (can't remember the exact number) which was utterly meaningless and de facto killed off the entire universe.
I will never understand why liberal writers tend to do that. But putting that aside I've read some post or review a while back that one of the big problems in cartoons today is that these modern creators (a term used very loosely here) use them to talk about their own emotional and romantic traumas and issues. In theory this sounds promising, in practice it means Star Butterfly inexplicably wants to be beaten up by a musclegirl butch lesbian who just happened to write that episode.
I say that the same happened to GF with Hirsch and his masochistic siscon. But it's true, when it was good it was good. The show was great up until that point, but the ending just poisoned it all for me.
