>>110459858Actually, yeah. Line Producers are pretty much the only reason a show goes from ideaguy shit to something that actually gets made. If the lead producer on a show leaves it usually means the show's production goes to shit and, if not outright canceled, takes a prolonged hiatus to put back together. At this point most of the actual creative people have left to find other jobs, so the next season becomes a completely different product with only one or two people still participating under contract.
Also most producers ARE involved in the creative process in the form of writers, editors, and even animation cleanup and revision these days.
