A shill will ultimately try to get a guarantee of your dollar.
Now I'm not saying you have to be pro-piracy, but if you effectively never mention going to see/buy something day one, full price, X amount of times, etc and you're just talking about the media, not the market, then it's just discussion. No pitch to convince others to do anything.
Vice versa even if it's just fans engaging in a pissing contest, as soon as box office, profits or views/trending points are brought up, it's shilling of a sort, since it's intent is to convince the opposition or fence sitters to back something To become another digit in its numbers and get with the winners. It's not longer about the content, but the companies.
If Moviebob has a similar sentiment and most have to be told or even disagree with it, then I'm horrified it's come to this.
