I'm a fan of the idea of Cartman and Wendy somehow getting mixed up, and having to hide it from their respective friend circles. Wendy having to try to act like she thinks Cartman does around the guys, and Cartman having to pretend to be Wendy with the girls.

Cartman and Kyle might be funny too, but because they share the same friend circle, it doesn't take each of them out of their element quite as much.

Rewatched Mexican Joker and liked it better now when it was easier to pay attention, though it was nothing special. I don't think it will be a longer arc because they kind of did wrap it up but we'll see. Personally I think White People Renovating Houses is the worst opening episode in the show yet the episode after that was great.

There was nothing political about last episode. People these days seem to mix political and moral themes together and South Park has always had moral themes. Kyle is the biggest moralfag in the show and the episode would have been better if someone like Craig would have been taken there because he doesn’t care about anything.

Looking at the episode list for S19 again, yeah it was actually a pretty good season. The finale was decent too, even though I remember everyone being confused that a season that seemed to be culminating to a point about PC culture ended up getting sidetracked with a war on ads

The shitshow of an election season turned everyone off of serialisation, but S18 and S19 both did it well. It's been hit and miss since then, but I think events of previous episodes still being relevant is nice. I don't like when episodes run into each other continuing the same story while hitting all the same notes, which I'm worried S23 will be doing with tegridy farms and possibly the ICE plot
